GSV Industries was established in 1989 by Shri. R. Govindarajalu to manufacture M.S. fan cowls and terminal boxes for electrical motors. Over three decades later, that same focus — a small range of components, made accurately and supplied on time — still runs the plant.

The plant

10,000 sq ft on Mettupalayam Road.

Our plant is located at Government Press Colony, around 21km from Coimbatore on Mettupalayam Road. The shop floor covers roughly 10,000 sq ft and is equipped to manufacture M.S. fan cowls and terminal boxes for electrical motors from 56 to 160 frame sizes, using up-to-date machinery and process control.

Fan cowls and terminal boxes made here are supplied as original equipment to leading motor and pump manufacturing companies in and around Coimbatore — work that depends on holding tolerance and finish consistently, order after order.

Tooling capability

Press tools cut to your part.

Beyond our standard fan cowl and terminal box range, we hold spare capacity to make tailor-made press tooling components, from 0.5mm to 1.5mm sheet thickness. We work through a strong tie-up with a modern tool room for the design and manufacture of press tools built around each customer's requirement.

Since April 2012, that same press floor has also produced motor lamination stampings up to 200mm in diameter, run on two high-speed presses and supplied to a leading pump manufacturer in Coimbatore.
